omegaRide Driver Agreement Addendum

1. Eligibility and Documentation

• Drivers must:
  • Hold a valid driver's license recognized under Ghanaian law.
  • Maintain valid vehicle registration and roadworthy certification.
  • Carry active motor insurance covering passengers and third parties.
• omegaRide may request copies of these documents at any time. Failure to provide them may result in suspension or termination.

2. Independent Contractor Status

• Drivers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of omegaRide.
• Drivers are solely responsible for their tax obligations, social security contributions, and compliance with applicable labor and transport laws.

3. Conduct and Safety

• Drivers must:
  • Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and local transport rules.
  • Treat passengers and package recipients with respect and professionalism.
  • Refrain from discrimination, harassment, or unsafe driving practices.
• omegaRide reserves the right to deactivate accounts for repeated complaints, unsafe conduct, or policy violations.

4. Vehicle Standards

• Vehicles must be clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• omegaRide may set minimum standards for vehicle age, condition, and features.
• Drivers are responsible for fuel, maintenance, and repair costs.

5. Earnings and Payments

• Drivers will receive fares as displayed in the App, less omegaRide's service fee or commission.
• Payments are processed through the App's wallet system.
• Drivers are responsible for any applicable taxes on their earnings.

6. Ratings and Feedback

• Passengers may rate and review Drivers after each trip.
• Consistently low ratings may result in suspension or termination.
• Drivers may also rate passengers to ensure mutual accountability.

7. Insurance and Liability

• Drivers must maintain valid insurance at all times.
• omegaRide is not liable for accidents, damages, or losses arising from a Driver's conduct.
• Drivers are personally responsible for claims, fines, or penalties incurred while providing services.

8. Termination

• omegaRide may suspend or terminate a Driver's account for:
  • Breach of this Addendum or the Terms and Conditions.
  • Fraudulent activity or misuse of the App.
  • Repeated passenger complaints or safety violations.
• Drivers may terminate their participation at any time by deleting their account.

9. Governing Law

This Addendum is governed by the laws of Ghana. Disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of Ghanaian courts.
